Below are pictures from the sixth grade trip to the MOST Museum in Syracuse on Thursday, December 18th. Students had the opportunity to learn about an array of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) topics that will spark inquiry, discussion, and experiments back in their classrooms. The trip was an opportunity for students to have some of their questions about science answered, but more importantly, to spark bigger questions to explore, and to be creative in generating new ideas of STEM innovation.
The fifth grade chorus traveled to the Westmoreland Town hall today to share the sounds of the season with senior citizens from our community. The fifth graders invited the audience to share in singing, which caused the whole room to be filled with excitement, singing, smiles. Check out the video below to view a song from this extraordinarily talented group of musicians.
